Pantheon’s MSND, Cinderella at the Ayr Gaiety, and what’s up next for Sonic and Boom!

What's happening for Sonic and Boom over December and the start of 2013!

What happens after Forever?! It seems a very philosophical question!

In actual fact it’s just a wee bit of news regarding what Clare and Kenny will be up to after their next show finishes in London on the 28th of November!

Sonic Boom have nothing planned as a company over the festive period (beyond our regular performance night every Sunday THREE CHORD THEATRE, more info on which can be found here: 3CT) but don’t despair, we’re not sitting back and leaving you all without us for the next few months! We’re actually just a little too busy to produce our own shows over Christmas!

Clare is already getting stuck into directing Pantheon’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, which will be hitting the Cottiers theatre in February (more info below) after having beaten back some incredible competition to get the job! With her vision, enthusiasm and previous experience of putting the show on it promises to be awesome so grab your tickets sooner rather than later!

Kenny will be spending his Christmas months in Ayr playing the part of Dandini in the Ayr Gaiety theatre. It’s his first panto ever and he’s thrilled to be acting alongside Gary Lamont and Leah MacRae and the rest of the wonderful cast! This show will be the first to be performed in the refurbished and reenergised Ayr Gaiety since it reopened and it’s already almost completely sold out, so you’ll be buying tickets immediately.. oh no you won’t.. oh yes you will… etc!

But don’t fret! We’re by no means going our separate ways! We’re hard at work perfecting “Forever”, and working on new projects behind the scenes and Sonic and Boom will be back as Sonic Boom in March to present you with our brand new play “How to Catch a Cat Burglar” as part of the comedy festival and starring Kenny, Clare and the incredible Kirsty Anderson. Our play “The Second First King of Scotland” will be finding its way on to the stage in 2013 too and plans are a foot for another re-imagined classic to be given the Sonic Boom touch as well! STAY TUNED!!

OH! And tickets for “Forever” are still available! Clicky here for info! FOREVER
