Clare has recently completed a BA(hons) in Journalism & Creative Writing and English/Theatre Studies from the University of Strathclyde and is ready to say goodbye to the poverty of student life… and hello to the poverty of life as a professional actor! She continued to act professionally throughout her university career as well as supporting herself through work in community development. As an experienced actor she combined her love of theatre with her work, facillitating a youth theatre, running school drama clubs and producing several community pantomimes over her career. She is currently working on “The Street Project” with Regen:fx Youth Trust in South Lanarkshire.

While she plans to continue her work in the community she is now focusing her attention on theatre for the forseeable future. Recent acting credits include Sarah/Amy in TIE show “Is this me?” in South Lanarkshire High Schools, Inspector Rebecca Monro in feature film “Night is Day – The Movie” and Anna in web series “Lager and Lipstick”. Directing credits include “Cinderella”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Jungle Book” and “Wolves in the Walls”.

Clare also performs regularly with Q-Fusion Improv at Highlight Comedy Club, who she also did a 20 show run with at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

She has recently performed as Puck in Sonic Boom’s production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” ,Kate in “No Time has passed in Hippoland”. and Alice in “Alice’s Adventures through the looking Glass”
